It does not require too much yarn - but you will need 3 colors. So a ball of each will be plenty.

You will also need stuffing for almost every piece, a tapestry needle to sew the pieces together, and eyes (safety eyes if you are giving this to a small child would be best) though they can be stitched on instead.
