Robyn Hood
The Robyn Hood is worked very loosely in the 3rd st of the hdc, making it look knit.
3hdc rounds of the working in the 3rd loops = 1 1/2”
10mm and 8mm hook needed
yarn needle
2 − 1” buttons
You will need anywhere from 125 yards of yarn to 270 depending on size you are making
Pics are added for tutorial on how to do the increase for the cowl part
I just love the look of this hood. It is crocheted with the hdc in the 3rd loop stitch, which makes it look knit. It is crocheted rather loosely so makes it looser than most hooded cowls, which are stiffer because of the yarn used. Not so with this pattern, you get the best of both worlds. It’s both cute, stylish and super comfortable and warm. I love that it fits snuggly around your neck and can go under your coat and completely protects you from the weather.
