This super bulky ‘Rock Lobster Beanie’ has a bold design that shows off 3 contrasting colors. I have had these 3 pink, black, and white skeins of Malabrigo Rasta for some time and I just knew I wanted to create something eye-catching. The result ended in this beanie that uses slipped stitches to mimic a fair isle design.
With the slipped stitches, you only use one color per round, making this hat a very beginner friendly knit.

The name ‘Rock Lobster’ comes from my favorite B-52 song (can anyone else hear the opening melody in their head??). I just love it! And the best part of this pattern is that you can knit 3 beanies out of the same 3 skeins of Malabrigo Rasta. Just try switching up the order of the colors and you will have enough yarn.
