Hi there the pattern of cute rocking horse is activated again :-) I made the revision of the pattern, so if you have not the acutal version, don’t forget to download it.

About pattern:
This pattern is written in standard American (US) terms, in English language, with step-by-step instruction and plenty pictures for succesfull completing of your work. Pattern is available for instant download.

Suggested material for body:
Yarn weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi)
100% mercerized cotton yarn
Yardage: 136 yards (124 meters), Unit weight: 50 g (1.76 ounces), Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 in
e.g. Catania Solids by Schachenmayr SMC
Hook used: I used a hook 3 mm
Colors: 106 white, 115 red, 205 apple green, 236 light green.
Note 2015: Light green 236 was discontinued, so you could use another green shade e.g. 392 lime

Alternative yarn: e.g. 100% cotton yarn Miami by Red Heart, Camilla Cotton by Ice Yarns

Suggested yarn for the mane and tail: some fancy yarn. I used the yarn named Polly by www.vlnika.cz – it is mixture of pompom and eyelash yarn.

Eyelash yarns: e.g. Eyelash yarn by Ice Yarns, Fun Fur by Lion brand, Akki by Vlnika, Helena by Vlnika, Decofur by Alize, Rumba by YarnArt, Samba by YarnArt
Pom-pom yarn: e.g. Alfa by Vlnika, Baby Pom Pom by Bernat, Baby Pom Pom by Spinrite

Other material: tiny buttons average 6-9 mm, Toho beads size 6/0 and 8/0, toy filling, tapestry needle, bigger Christmas button (average 0,8 inches), safety eyes (average 8 mm), common sewing needle and thread

Size of finished horse: 4,9 inches tall / 8 inches width

Level of the pattern: beginner, but basic skills are needed :-) You should know, how to crochet these stitches: Chain (CH), Slip stitch (SlSt), Single crochet (SC), Double crochet (DC), Increasing (inc): crochet 2 SC in same stitch, Decreasing (dec): crochet 2 SC together
