This sweater has been designed to involve minimal seaming but maximum structure.
The textured yoke is worked flat and joined at the shoulders with a 3 needle bind-off. The neckband is worked on a small circular needle, then the sleeves are picked-up and knitted down with clever shaping to make for a very feminine fit. Once the sleeve seams and tiny body seams have been sewn-up, the body is worked down from the bodice, in the round so that you can try on your garment and make sure you are happy with the length before you cast off. This makes sure that you can use up as much of your precious yarn as possible and that you can wear it instantaneously!!
The lovely drape of Juniper Moon Farm Moonshine makes for an elegant take on a classic aran weight gansey, a useful wardrobe essential which is easy to wear year-round and for all occasions.
The model is wearing the smallest size with 6in, 15cm, ease and total yarn requirements are 6 (7: 8: 8) x 100gm skeins.
