Rockport Beanie
by Mary P
The Rockport beanie is a great beginner pattern that is crocheted in rows. It is then slip stitched up the side to form a tube. Decreases are then made at the top. It uses Lion Brand Color Made Easy yarn but any comparable #5 bulky weight yarn will work.
Stitches used in this pattern include the half double crochet stitch and the slip stitch. All my patterns are written in English and use American crochet terms.
Beanie has a head circumference of approx. 20-21in around. The length of the beanie from top to bottom is 8.5in.
