The rocky Hollow Troll stands 8 inches/24cm highHe was inspired by the rock trolls in the Frozen film

Due to the fun fur and the google eyes, this toy is not recommended for a very small child.

You could embroider the eyes and change the fun fur to DK yarn tassel’s, insert them using a crochet hook and make sure they are well knotted.

The pattern is clearly written and has many photo’s to help you along the way, to ensure you get the perfectly finished toy.

Gauge is not really important as long as your stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing does not show through.

These are the materials used
Green fun fur or eyelash yarn = 25gr
Grass Green DK/8ply/11wpi = 40g
Medium grey DK = 40g
Scrap of black DK yarn
Pair straight 3mm needles
Pair straight 4mm needles
Pair of 10mm Google eyes – or
A scrap of white felt and a black ball point pen.
Selection of small beads or elastic bead bangle (optional)
clear multipurpose glue
Fiberfill

p = purl
ss = stocking stitch – knit one row purl one row
st/sts = stitch/stitches
tog = knit/purl next two stitches together
inc1 = knit into the front and the back of the next stitch to increase
