Design for an intermediate crochet hat that uses several textured stitches. This hat works up well with solid colored yarns to really show the texture of the stitches used.

You will need to know how to chain, double crochet, single crochet, half double crochet, back loop half double crochet, front loop half double crochet, and slip stitch to make this project. You should also be familiar with the alpine stitch.

You may need to use a 6.5mm crochet hook to meet the gauge depending on how loosely you crochet.

You will want 1 100 gram ball of each color used.
