Rococo
A beautiful and fun pillow, just in time for spring and summer! It also makes a fun decor pillow on beds.
Finished Size:
• Diameter without petals: 13”
• Petals: l x h: 3 ½” x 3 ½”
• Petal to petal across: 20”
• Gauge with 6mm hook in Tss: 2”x2” = 11 st x 8 rows
Materials:
• 4.5mm Tunisian (afghan) crochet hook, 12” cable and stopper
• 2 skeins – Rowan Felted Tweed DK (50% Wool, 25% Viscose, 25% Alpaca; 50g/175m)
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers (optional)
Notes:
➔ This pillow is done as a Tunisian crochet wedge, as shown in the picture.
➔ While the petals typically lay loose, for a stiffer petal, jewelry wire can be used during the making of the petals to keep it firm. You will need to crochet the wire on the right side of the petal while making, then add it to the left as you work the sc down the side.
