The giant Rödgavel, lord of Omberg, was named for the long red beard he wore. He lived inside the largest cave in Omberg mountain, which bore his name Red gable. The cave was also the entrance to a palace (Sw. Rödgavels port). Inside the mountain there were enchanted gardens, and if you happened to get lost on the mountain, you could tum some of your clothing inside out. This would prevent the spirit of the mountain from misleading you.

Simple unisex sock in geometric pattern made with only knit and purl stitches. Easily switched between rugged winter wear with boots to simple dressed up sophistication. The sock has a twisted rib cuff, top down construction, traditional heel flap and riverbed gusset and optional traditional gusset instructions.

Materials : Lanitium ex Machina Glitter Sock 70% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 5% Stellina, 437 yards (400 meters)/ 100 grams.
Bugbear Woolens Gemstone Sock Yarn 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 463 yards (401 meters) / 100 grams.

Needles: US 1/ 2.25 mm, your choice of dpns, two circulars, or one long circular to work in the rnd.

Notions: Tapestry needle, Stitch markers (optional).

Gauge: 32 sts, 44 rnds = 4 inches (10 cm) over stockinette stitch in the rnd.

Size: Unisex small (medium, large), to fit 7 (8, 9) inches/18 (20, 23) cm foot circumference; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 9”.
