Colorful and very easy to knit, Rodin bag is knitted bottom up in one piece, alternating knit and purl rows on circular needles, resulting in a garter stitch.
The artisanal plaid look is achieved by weaving the yarn with a tapestry needle through the bumps. It gives the handwoven effect and maintains the structure preventing the bag from stretching or deforming under weight.
It’s also lined (optional) with a cotton fabric. The closure might be a cord or a knitted i-cord worked with DPNs (as for the strap).
