Roger sweater
This sweater is a basic, brought with a timeless fashion element: the stripe. It stands for constant comfort with its classic fit and at the same time gives a chic allure through the attention to detail in the finishes. It’s knitted mainly with the beginner friendly stockinette stitch from the top down and mostly in the round. You can make the size recommended or choose 2 to 3 sizes bigger for that extra edgy effect.

Recommended ease
This sweater has a straight body that hangs loosely around the hips. Therefore the ease is based on the hip circumference and
intended to be worn with 10 cm, 4 in of positive ease at the hips.
The cover model wears size 2 with 10 cm, 4 in of positive ease at the hips.

Samples are knitted with Heavy Merino by Knitting for Olive (50 g = 125 m 137 yds, 100% Merino wool)

3.5 mm US 4 / 40, 100 cm - 16, 40 in circular needles for Half twisted ribs

Gauge
18.5 sts x 27 rnds = 10cm - 4 in on larger needle in Stockinette stitch
34 sts x 30 rnds = 10cm - 4 in on smaller needle in Half twisted 2x2 rib
30 sts x 30 rnds = 10cm - 4 in on smaller needle in Half twisted 1x1 rib
All measured after blocking.
