Rogue and Rouge the Reef Angler Fish
Treasures From The Living Reef In Crochet
I’ve been working on a variety of original sea creatures and “Rogue” is my third angler (the first being a deep-sea angler with a light-up lure, and the second a “half reef angler” swimming out of a wall hanging). While looking for reference photos, I happened across this video at You Tube which inspired my creation. Meet the real “Rogue”:

Rogue measures 5” long. He is made from chenille yarn with Frosted Ice Super Fine Jelly Yarn for his teeth and the trim on his pectoral fin. He was enhanced with some simple soft-sculpture techniques. Rogue has a glow-in-the-dark bead on the end of his lure (very alluring!).
This photo intensive 24 page pattern also includes the slightly larger lady angler fish named “Rouge”. She is done in a fantasy style with her alluring pink lips and blush.
Angelsun Crochet Patterns--Made with a Hook, and a Quirk and a dash of Mirth! As with ALL of my patterns, crafters are encouraged and welcomed to sell finished creations.
