Rolled edge Germantown fair isle hat
This hat was inspired by the colors of Kelbourne woolens “Germantown”. Traditional colors with some old sweet memories. I designed and knitted a hat for my daughter when she was 3 years old… (20 years ago :)
I always wanted to write the pattern for an adult version.
The hat is knitted with traditional Fair isle technique. You use only 2 colors to create the pattern. The pattern comes with very clear written instructions with a color chart.
YARN
The yardage above is a total of 5 colors. I added 10~15% more than I used for the sample, so you should have enough to finish the hat.
