This top is designed with 0-2”/0-5cm ease at the full chest for a close fit. If you have a full bust in relation to your upper chest, go down one size from this recommendation and work bust darts for best fit.
Suggested Yarn
The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Confluence Cotton
(80% Targhee/Rambouillet, 20% Cotton, 250yds/2oz., Come and Get Your Love Colorway)
Yarn Substitutions
Due to the uniqueness of the recommended yarn, I was unable to find similar wool/cotton blend alternative. However, you should be able to achieve the recommended gauge across a wide variety of bases, whether they be animal or plant fibers, by using any fingering or sport weight yarn and adjusting the needle size as necessary. As long as you are able to swatch to the specified gauge, you’re good!
Suggested Needles
US 4 (3.50mm) 32”-40” circular needles, plus preferred needles for small circumference knitting
Gauge
22 sts & 30 rows / 4”(10cm), stockinette flat & in the round, blocked
