Rollin' Baby Booties
You can make these booties in two colours or just one. They are very easy and quick to make and are ideal for a last minute gift idea. When wearing the booties you can either roll them down or keep them up like a high top. For something a little different use a ribbon as a lace. I hope you enjoy!
Materials
I used Cleckheaton Country yarn. The gauge on the yarn packet reads 22.0 sts to 30.0 rows = 4 inches in stocking stitch (knitting).
You can use any alternative 8ply or DK yarn.
Yardage
I used a total of 30grams (58 metres/63 yards in total)
Two Colours
Approximately 20grams of Main Colour (MC) (39 metres/43 yards)
Approximately 10 grams of Contrast Colour (CC) (19 metres/20yards)
Gauge
After round 4 is completed the sole of the bootie measures approximately 11.5cm (4.75 inches) length, and 6.5cm (2.5 inches) width through the middle.
I worked with pure wool so the shoes have lots of stretch for fitting.
