A ball of Romanian wool yarn inspired me to create these mitten. Roma Mittens is simple mittens with a variation of knits, purls and twisted stitches that creates a graphic structural pattern. Skills required are knits, purls and twisted knit stitches.

Needles used are organic beech 2,5 mm DPN’s. Make sure to swatch before you start as the kind of needles you choose can affect the gauge.

The most suitable yarn is Moeke Yarn Elena - traditional Romanian yarn - which gives the right spirit to these mittens.
