Three classic stitch patterns comprise the fabric in this washcloth. The knit-purl combination of stitches produces a flat, non-curling fabric with a delicate “serpentine” motif. The design is actually a seed stitch, alternating knit-purl, stripe on a background of stockinette surrounded by the all-knit raised texture of garter fabric.
