I have a passion for beautifully dyed yarns in combination with double knitting. I love how the front and back look so similar but are exactly each other’s opposite. The past years I have designed and knitted a number of Double Knitting projects, and although the principal is the same they all look completely different.
This scarf reminds me of a beautiful sunset watched through Roman Trellis , that’s why I called it Roman Trellis Scarf.

The design of this double knitted scarf can easily be adjusted to any size as an afghan/blanket or used as base for anything else you would like to double knit.

I recommend yarn with a long gradient color way in two contrasting colors. Also you can use yarn in any thickness you like. Please go up one size from the needle size suggested on the label. That way the drape of the scarf will be better. Best make a swatch though to be sure you end up with the desired size. The length of the scarf can easily be adjusted to your needs.
