The Romanesco Jumper is a three-dimensional spike-textured fitted top that can be worked in 4 different ways. The pattern for this jumper is created on the inside of your work and is worked bottom up. This pattern is best suited for intermediate to advanced knitters.

Gauge (after blocking)
In 2x2 rib (using 4mm US 6 needles with DK weight yarn): 19 sts / 29 rows for every 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches.

In basic pattern (using 4mm US 6 needles with DK weight yarn): 30 sts / 33 rows for every 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches.

Materials:
Work the jumper using one strand of any DK weight yarn - (8ply 11wpi).

The jumper can be worked in many different ways: long sleeves, short sleeves or no sleeves, with a cropped body or a full-length body. Below are approximations of the yarn amounts you will need.
