I first designed this pattern in 2008, when skinny scarves were a definite “thing”. They were so much a thing, in fact, that one of the first people who ever made this scarf said she was making hers to wear to the premiere of the movie Twilight. I have since learned a lot more about pattern design and technical editing and I have taken the things I learned and have applied them to this pattern for a more modern, updated look with clearer, more concise instructions. Now a one-skein wonder, this newer version of the pattern includes yarn/hook suggestions to make larger variations of the same scarf, but feel free to experiment to your heart’s everlasting delight.

Please note that blocking will be absolutely necessary. When this scarf is stretched and blocked, it adds a lot of width and really opens up the stitch pattern so all your hard work can be seen clearly.
