Create your own romantic garden and enjoy it all year round!

Romantic Garden Socks is an exceptionally delicate and romantic design. The project was born out of love for nature, which is expressed in the embroidered floral motif and plant-dyed yarn.

The socks are knitted from the toe up in the round, with a fleegle heel. They knit up fast in plain stockinette stitch at the sole and stems made with twisted stitches at the front. What makes them so exceptional is leaves and flowers embroidered at the very end using only two simple stitches. The pattern includes detailed video tutorials for embroidery.

Sizes
S (56 sts) - fits foot circumference 19 cm (7.5”)
M (64 sts) - 21.5 cm (8.5”)
L (72 sts) - 23.5 cm (9.25”)
Foot and leg length adjustable.

Yarn
Fingering weight sock yarn (ca. 400 m/437 y in 100 g).
Approximately 220-260 (250-290) 280-320 m / 240-284 (273-317) 306-350 y.

The sample socks were made with Meadow Art Yarn Sock naturally dyed with sappanwood.

Needles
2.25 mm (US 1) circular needles, 80 cm / 32” or 23 cm / 9” or DPNs (or other size to obtain gauge).

Gauge
In stockinette stitch, worked in the round, after wet blocking, on 2.25 mm (US 1) needles: 34 sts x 50 rnds = 10 x 10 / cm 4 x 4”.

Romantic Garden Socks to wyjątkowo delikatne i romantyczne skarpetki. Projekt zrodził się z miłości do natury, wyrażonej w haftowanym kwiatowym motywie i włóczce farbowanej roślinami.

Skarpetki wykonywane są od palców w górę w okrążeniach, z piętą typu fleegle heel. Same skarpetki dzierga się szybko, z gładkim spodem i gałązkami z oczek przekręconych na przodzie. Na zakończenie przy użyciu dwóch prostych ściegów haftowane są listki i kwiatki, które sprawiają, że gotowe skarpetki są tak wyjątkowe.
