A warming shawl with vintage vibes, combining rustic tweed with romantic lace.

The body of the shawl is worked sideways, from point to point. The lace is made separately, and attached by simple crochet stitches (or sewn on, if preferred).

The cable and lace patterns are given in charts only.
The pattern includes instructions on how to recalculate the lace if the shawl body doesn’t meet the measurements in the schematic.

Length at upper border: 190 cm / 75 inches
Depth at center: 51 cm / 20 inches

Yarn requirements
Body: 4 balls of Rowan Felted Tweed DK (700 m / 750 yd)
Lace: 1 ball of Rowan Fine Lace (used approx. 1/3 of the ball)
