This is a gorgeous cabled tea-bag style hat, with cute cables and big pom poms!

Knit up in chunky organic wool from Romney Marsh Wools, this is a quick cabled project and can be knit up in a few evenings!

The hat features a heavily cabled front, which is surprisingly easy to pick up. The pattern includes instructions for a moss stitch back, but can be knit with cables on both front and back.

Different sizes can be achieved by adjusting the needle size, or a completely different size can be achieved by using a lighter weight wool.

This pattern is designed to highlight beautiful British wool!

You’ll need the following:

• 150g of bulky weight wool (or try holding double)
• Cable needle
• Straight needles to match your tension (I used 5.5mm) or circulars to work flat
