The cardigan is knitted from top down seamlessly. You will start with the back in two parts that you will join to work to the armholes. Then you place the back on holder for work the front to the armholes, finally you will join to knit the back and the front together until the end.
The sleeves will be knitted in round, picking stitches around the armhole.

Yarn: approximately 1200 (1315, 1530, 1640)1750, 1970, 1970 yards; 1100 (1200, 1400, 1500)1600, 1800, 1800 meters of fingering yarn or other yarn to obtain gauge. The sample was knitted in size S using Yak chic et soie by Le fil de sidonie – 60% Merino, 20% silk, 20% yak – 400 yards; 366 meters/100 gr. – colorway Alice.

Needles: US4; 3.5 mm and US2½; 3.00 mm circular needles and DPNS.

Others: stitch markers, waste yarn, 2 cable needles, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, 3 (or more) buttons 0.8 inch; 2 cm diameter.

Gauge: stockinette stitch: 24 stitches and 30 rows for 4 inches; 10 cm with US4; 3.5 mm circular needles
