Roomy Balaclava is a loose-fitting hood that is easy to combine with fashion. Knitted with two yarns of wool and mohair, it protects the face and ears from the cold wind. It is worked from top-down. Knit the top square, picking up stitches from each side to form the hood. The neck is formed with increases and decreases, then the back and front are knitted separately before joining.

★Tip!★
This is designed with a wide front opening, but If you want the front opening to be a little narrower, pick up sts in approx 2 out of 3 sts or 4 out of 5 sts.(About 100 to 120 stitches.)

Gauge　15 stitches × 21 rows in stockinette on 5.5 mm needles after wash and blocking

●Knitting for Olive Merino (250 m / 50 g) 40g held together with Garnstudio Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk(140 / 25 g) 30g
●Worsted held together with Lace weight (mohair) / About 200m each

Roomy Balaclava はファッションに調和するゆったりと余裕のあるフードです。モヘアを引き揃えて編むことで寒さへの耐久が増しあなたの顔と耳を寒い風から守ります。
編み方は、まずトップのマチを編み、次にサイドを拾い目をして増し目をしながら往復編みでフードを形成します。首元で減らし目と顎下で増し目をし輪にします。ネックの長さはお好みで変更できます。
※フロント前端はリブかダブルニッティングかを選びます。

★Tip!★
前開口部は広く開くデザインにした為全目を拾う指示なのですが、キツめに目を拾い気持ちキツめにリブを編むか、
または、きゅっと絞りたいなら3目中2目、ゆったり絞るなら5目中4目などで拾い目を調整すると良いかと思います。
