The Roots socks are inspired by traditional Ukrainian embroidery. These socks are worked in the round, from the cuff to the toe. The pattern includes a written description and charts.
You can use your favorite method for small-circumference knitting: DPNs, magic loops, or small-circumference circular needles. The pattern describes the knitting on small circumference circular needles.

9” (23 cm) cuff circumference
Measurements were taken after blocking
Gauge
32 sts * 34 rows = 4” (10 сm) in colorwork stitch in the round (after blocking) with US 3.0 (3.25 mm)
Yarn
Mondim Rosa Pomar 100gr/385m – 100% portuguese wool
main color 301, contrasting color 115
(for one pair of socks you need about 50 grams of the main color and about 25 grams of contrasting color)
