While watching Gilmore Girls (all the way through, for the third time) I kept seeing that stupid hat Rory wore in the titles for the golf lesson with her grandfather, and I said to myself, “ I can make that.” And so, I did and here is the pattern. The good news is that I made it not as floppy and stupid looking while keeping the colors, shape and the pompom. I think of it as a test—when I wear it, how many people will “get” that this is Rory’s hat. Those people will be my new friends.
