Rosa Sweater
Rosa Sweater is a classic raglan sweater knitted from the top down.
The pattern has various yarn options:
- Organic Merino 300 + Silk Mohair
- Organic Merino 800 + Brushed Alpaca 400
- Alpaca Cloud And allows for a choice between a high turtleneck, a regular low ribbed edge, or a folded ribbed edge at the neckline.
The sweater begins at the neckline, where you first knit back and forth with increases to shape the neck while also making increases at the four raglan markers. Once the neckline is shaped, the work is joined in the round, and you continue in stockinette stitch with raglan increases until reaching the armholes, where the work is divided into body and sleeves.
The body is knitted straight down in stockinette stitch and finished with a wide ribbed edge.
The sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch with decreases on the underside. The sleeve also ends with a wide ribbed edge.
Finally, a ribbed edge is knitted at the neckline, either as a high turtleneck or a low ribbed edge.
