Rosalind Socks
A tribute to scientist Rosalind Franklin and her crucial contribution to the discovery of the structure of DNA. Front and centre is a motif inspired by the famous Photo 51, the X-ray diffraction image that was pivotal to the discovery that DNA is a double helix. The double helix itself adorns the back and sole of the sock.
These socks are knitted cuff down with a reinforced flap heel and gusset decreases. Fits a medium womans foot, US 7-9, circumference 21-23cm, adjustable by using smaller or larger needle. Length can be adjusted by adding extra rows before toe decrease.
