For anyone just attempting cables this is a really easy pattern, please dont be intimidated by cables they are so nice to look at and great to knit.

I have done this in a natural fiber which is great for keeping the head warm in the cooler weather.

You will need 2 skeins of yarn, drops merino will also knit up great
14 stitch markers
tapestry needle
and a cable needle
Its a snug fit beanie but also looks good slouchy and gender fluid.
