on 5/8” gauge CinDwood Loom. I used the 5/8” purple knifty knitter replacement loom from CinDWood Looms. You can use any loom you like for your hat size and any gauge and yarn that works with that gauge. But you need a worsted weight yarn or a thin bulky with a larger gauge loom to be able to make this easy tam hat.
