This crochet pattern is for the Elf Modification kit for Rose, who stands at 9” tall when made with Paintbox Aran yarn in acrylic and a 3.75mm hook. Elf Rose is made in one piece with no limbs that need to be sewn into place.

Rose follows my debut pattern Tulip, who was originally designed for my youngest son who struggled to hold on to the small arms on his older sister dolls. I realised he needed handles to hold onto which is where the idea of the arms being attached at the bottom originated. With young children being in mind, the clothing is kept minimal.

The pattern is provided in PDF format. The pattern include detailed text and photo instructions (where applicable), using US crochet terms. All abbreviations and special stitches are noted in the pattern. This is an advanced beginner pattern.
