Cette tuque fait partie de l’ensemble Rose des Vents, qui m’a été inspiré de l’école pas très loin de chez moi où j’ai travaillé à temps partiel pendant 5 ans: L’école La rose des Vents. Elle vous gardera au chaud puisqu’elle est en laine plus épaisse que mes créations habituelles.

Laine: Le bleu et blanc cassé : Briggs & Little Regal (100% pure laine), 248m(272vgs) par balle. Horizon bleu, 1 balle et Natural white, 1 balle
Le blanc cassé et rouge : Patons, Classic wool (100% laine), 204m(223 vgs) par balle. Aran, 1 balle et Cherry, 1 balle
Aiguilles: broche circulaire de 40cm/16’’ et 4mm

This is the hat of the kit inspired by the name of the school where I worked part time: La Rose des vents (Wind rose). It’s also a bit Norwegian style. I love stranded knitting. That type of hat is called “tuque” in province of Quebec where I live. The thick yarn makes it a very warm hat for long Quebec’s winters.
Size One size adult (for 22 to 23 inches circumference head) , but you can change the size a little bit by changing needles size from ¼ to ½ mm.

One 16 inches US 5/4mm circular needle (for hat)

20 sts/26 rows: 4” in stockinette stitch with 4mm
