Rose Garland Shawl
A dozen roses in garter stitch outlined by lacy holes encircle this pi shawl. To protect the roses, the central rings are knitted in ladybird stitch and the outside edging is delicate picot thorns in garter stitch.
Pattern includes written row & rnd instructions, lace charts, optional Koolaid dyeing instructions
Finished measurement of shawl (after blocking): 67”/170 cm diameter
Yarn: any laceweight which approximately = 16 oz/454 gm - 5040 yds/4608 m.
Cover model was knitted with Henry’s Attic Moriah 100% wool, then dyed in Wildberry Tea Koolaid
Needles & Notions: Four size 3 mm (US 2 1/2) double-pointed needles, one size 3 mm (US 2 1/2) 24”/61 cm circular needle, one size 3 mm (US 2 1/2) 40”/101.5 cm circular needle or size to obtain gauge, 3.5 mm crochet hook, markers, optional 16 packages of unsweetened Koolaid
