I used 12 squares to make a baby size afghan (37 by 29 inches), but you can make it any size you want.
The finished size of one square is 8 by 8 inches.

Then I used the roses to make granny squares:

And finally I connected all the squares using the slip stitch method and made a simple border of single crochets in two colors - green and pink.
