I originally saw a picture of this pattern in a vintage crochet book from the 1950’s (I think). Then, when I went back to make it a few weeks later, I couldn’t find the book anywhere. So I free-handed this based on my memory. I think I got pretty close.

This is a good scrap yarn pattern for any spare cotton you have.
