This is tri-colored double knitting in the intarsia style: The chart is divided in parts that should be knit in red and white and those in green and white. So within one row you use the green yarn until you reach a certain point in the chart. Then you set the green yarn aside and pick up the red yarn. After a couple of stitches leave the red yarn behind and pick up a second green yarn.

Ich habe an jeder Stelle jeweils nur zwei Farben und tausche dann mitten in der Reihe ein Garn gegen ein anderes. Ich stricke also eine Kombination aus Doppelstrick und Intarsien.
