Pattern Description from A Gathering of Lace: “This vest is designed to be loose and flowing. It is a seamless vest knitted from top down. The vest may be adjusted to fit your individual size by adding or subtracting a motif across the back or at the underarm.”

Notes:

  1. Only even rows are charted. All odd rows are purled.
  2. When increasing in lace and when working neck edge of fronts, work sts into lace pat when there are enough sts to work both a yo and its accompanying dec. Until this is possible, work inc and neck edge sts in St st.
  3. Always maintain a selvage st each side in St st, working inc sts inside the selvage.
