With inspiration from yarn colors, summer flowers come to mind. Lattice-like lace holds imaginary roses, and remembrance of the scent of lavender on the breeze… Takes me back to summer days!

Knit cuff down in Magic Loop method with heel flap and gusset, this pattern features a very easy to knit (and easy to memorize!) decorative lace detail that is worked down the front of the leg of each sock. Easily adaptable to knitting with DPNS. Instructions given for an Eye of Partridge Heel and Wedge Toe, but feel free to use your preferred heel and toe constructions. Ideal for adventurous new sock knitters, but also enjoyable for knitters with experience, this pattern is a fun and fast knit. A one-skein wonder, these were designed with that special gently speckled hand dyed yarn in mind, but are equally pleasing in solid colors or tonal/semi-solids.
