This messenger bag was designed for a birthday gift. It would also make a great laptop bag.

The body of the bag is knitted on circular needles in the round. The base, rose, flap and handles are knitted straight.

The instructions include how to felt and line the bag with fabric. I chose a pretty Amy Butler cotton lining with roses to complement the rose embellisment on the bag itself.
