You can use this pattern to make: a pillow, a trivet, and 2 different afghan squares
It uses 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together and a 9mm hook so it works up quickly and the pop of the flower is so fun

Materials/Supplies
Size M /9.00mm crochet hook or hook size needed to obtain correct gauge
Needle for weaving in ends

Yarn will depend on what you are making
Pillow
Loops & Threads 2.5oz (120 yds) Peacock(A) or any equivalent yarn that is a medium weight 4- for pillow you will need 5-6 balls (you will only need about 5 if you use both ends of 1 ball)
Loops & Threads 2.5oz (120 yds) Bubblegum(B) or any equivalent yarn that is a medium weight 4- 1-2 balls, but will only use about 2.5 oz altogether
Loops & Threads 2.5oz (120 yds) White (C) or any equivalent yarn that is a medium weight 4 - 1-2 balls (you won’t use much so I would use both ends of 1 ball) used 1.6oz
