I love my stationery, and I am a sucker for a Leuchtrumm A5 notebook. But sometimes I get halfway through the notebook and I’m bored of the colour or the cover. Instead of buying a new notebook, why not make a new one?

This pattern is perfect for beginners, or experienced knitters wanting a weekend knit. For beginners, you can practice all the basics: casting on, binding off, stocking stitch, garter stitch, blocking, and slip stitches.

The book over is made using two sock yarns held together in stocking stitch, so it’s perfect for showing off your variegated yarns. I recommend pairing a variegated yarn with a yarn in a solid colour. Of course, these colour decisions are based on my own tastes, so feel free to experiment with what you like!

The pattern was designed with the Leuchtrumm A5 notebook in mind, but it should work for any A5 notebook.

Knitted using 2 sock yarns from my stash held together. A perfect stashbuster!
