Rose Scrunchie

The Herringbone Half Double Crochet stitch gives such lovely texture and is even more fun when worked in the round! After looking at my completed scrunchie, I immediately thought of a whimsical little girl that I taught several years ago. So it’s only fitting that I would name this scrunchie after her. Rose is not so little anymore but I imagine if I asked her mother, she would say that she still loves to twirl!
This scrunchie is worked in continuous rounds, using sport weight yarn and is seamed at the end, enclosing a hair elastic.
The pattern could be made using other weights of yarn, just know that the gauge may not match the gauge in the pattern.
