A simple, easy repeat produces a great, simple, textured bonnet finished off with seed stitch crown shaping. This pattern is best worked with a looser tension, and if you are a very tight knitter this pattern may be difficult.

The backside of the stitch makes a cute flower like design ( see my clover bonnet pattern, it’s the same stitch) so you can use it either way, and get two bonnets in one!
