Formed during the Okanagan’s volcanic era, and carved out by de-glaciation, Rose Valley Regional Park showcases the unique Okanagan ecosystem. Trails wind along volcanic cliffs, past caves formed from air bubbles in the lava, through grassy plateaus and wooded areas, until visitors are finally rewarded with panoramic views of the Okanagan Valley.

Rose Valley is a top down crescent shawl. Columns of knit stitch on a background of reverse stockinette flow into an all-over lace rosebud pattern.

YARN/YARDAGE

Fingering weight yarn—approx. 130g (500y) for shawl and 40g (150y) for fringe. Two colour shawl uses 40g (150y) for Colour A and 90g (340y) for Colour B.
