The inspiration for these socks came from a pair of school knee socks I had as a child and how much as an adult I missed their cute girlie quality, Obviously the pastel ribbon and the undyed yarn add to that effect but for a slightly more alternative look they could be knitted up in black yarn with a brighter ribbon.
