This collar is knitted form the neck and down. It is knitted in the round, which means you can knit every round! You can use a wide variety of yarn. I used a hand spun one for the model.

I designed the collar to have something to wear at work over a blouse on chilly days and to allow for the collar on the blouse I made the neck opening wider than normal necks.

Try knitting it in grey or black for a sober office look. Or you can use a skein of hand painted yarn to get something truly unique! Your creativity is the limit.
