Rosella is a pretty top-down triangular shawl with a stylish lace hem. The large St St component makes this the perfect on-the-go project to have in your bag at all times and the pretty lace edge and picot bind off gives the shawl its Wow factor.

The pattern is fully charted (no row-by-row written instructions) and includes 3 sizes in the instructions along with complete details of how to make this shawl as large or small as you like.

The sizes given in the pattern are for a shawlette (Medium shawl, Large shawl). The medium sized shawl is pictured here in the deep purple colorway.

Their approximate sizes are: Wingspan: 62” (70”, 82”) Depth: 24” (29”, 34”)

Yarn requirements (approximate): 475 (670, 1035) metres

The pictured shawl was made with a lace weight yarn using 3.25mm needles giving a St St gauge of 24 Sts to 4” after blocking, however, gauge is really not important for this project, this shawl would work well with any weight yarn, the most important thing to pay attention to is how dense the St St section is after blocking - you don’t want this to look too dense or too loose.
