This information is from pages 20 and 23-24 of the Green Mountain Spinnery Knitting Book. The pattern is also available individually for download and may have appeared as a printed leaflet.
- This is the children’s version of the Rosemary’s Middle-Sized Sweater. It is a quick and easy knit, a classic pullover.
- Five sizes range from 2 to 10 which corresponds to 24 inches (61 cm) to 32 inches (81.5 cm) finished chest measurement. A schematic provides other useful measurements.
- This is a drop shoulder pattern and should be quite easy to alter for different sizes.
- The sweater is knit in the round to the armholes and back and forth for the upper chest. Sleeves are knit by picking up stitches around the armhole and knitting in the round down to the cuff.
- Simple cables are described in words, not charted.
- You will need double pointed and 24 inch circular needles in both needle sizes.
